Bodmin Jail has been recognised by Tripadvisor as a 2023 Travellers’ Choice award winner for attractions.

The coveted award celebrates businesses that have consistently received great reviews over the last 12 months, placing Bodmin Jail Museum among the top 10% of all listings on Tripadvisor globally.

Bodmin Jail Museum operated as a working prison from the late 1700s, before falling into disrepair in the twentieth century. It was completely renovated and transformed into a stunning immersive attraction and luxury hotel in 2020, maintaining many of the original features and capturing the history.

2023 has been a bumper year for the Museum, with thousands visiting the £8.5 million attraction for family entertainment, heritage tours and paranormal events.
