Tour Overview

The Bodmin Town and Jail Heritage Ghost Walk experience gives you a chance to walk in the footsteps of the prisoners in a journey through time to the point of execution.  Pop on your walking shoes, and grab an extra layer before setting-out on your guided adventure into Bodmin Town’s Heritage.

The first hour of the tour starts just outside the jail, and the first stop is the old Court Rooms, where prisoners started their journey of incarceration. A walk through the town follows the timeline of the history for the jail, noting key areas of relevance and introducing you to paranormal elements as well as physical, visual and audible interactions along the way.

The tour, which leads back to the jail, resumes inside the jail itself with a one and a half hour guided tour around the new attraction and jail building. You will then get around 15 minutes to explore or ask questions.

The tour also includes a 15-minute refreshment and comfort break in the middle.
