St Petroc’s Church is the heart of Bodmin, and is the largest and one of the oldest Parish Churches in Cornwall.
Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry Museum is situated in Bodmin. This museum is the former barracks of the famous Cornish regiment. The museum chronicles the history of the regiment and its campaigns from 1702 to 1950.
Shire Hall was built in the 1830s to house the county assize courts (criminal courts). The courts were moved to Truro in the late 1980s and the building now houses the town Tourist information centre
